留学生申请Vanier必须准备的资料 也普遍适用于其他cegep

     高中毕业文凭

     通常来说要求在校成绩高于平均分SRAM系统会判定是否达标

     英语成绩

     托福成绩 网考成绩80分以上机考成绩213分以上 纸考成绩550分以上如果是纸考就还需要一项写作考试分数不低于4.5

     雅思成绩6.5 分以上

     如果成绩未达到相应要求则需读先读语言课程然后再在Vanier进行考试。

 其他说明:

     入读时间 留学生只能9月入校

     报名截至日期331日开始时间大约是

     学费6000-9300加币一学期2016-2017年 详见附页

     报名费85加币

     法语课程需要进行法语分班考试。如果学生没有法语基础则需先上没有学分的法语课程然后再完成cegep的法语课程。有些专业课需要法语基础所以在报专业课的时候需要认真查看。

Admission Requirements:

  2. Quebec Secondary School Applicants

Quebec Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES) or the equivalent Prerequisites Equivalence Table which include the following courses:

  • Secondary 4 Science or Physical Science
  • Secondary 4 Math
  • Secondary 4 History
  • Secondary 5 Language of Instruction
  • Secondary 5 Second Language
  1. Out-of-Province Secondary Applicants
  • Alberta: Grade 11 (67-100 credits)
  • British Columbia: Grade 11
  • Manitoba: Grade 11 (minimum 13 credits )
  • New Brunswick: Grade 11 (minimum 12 or 13 credits, depending on regime)
  • Newfoundland: Grade 11 (minimum 24 credits)
  • Nova Scotia: Grade 11 (minimum 12 credits)
  • Ontario: Secondary School Diploma Grade 11 (minimum 22 credits)
  • Prince Edward Island: Grade 11 (minimum 12 credits)
  • Saskatchewan: Grade 11 (minimum 16 credits)
  1. International Applicants

1)    Students must Apply Online. (See the attached document)

2)    International applicants can only apply for the Autumn semester.

3)    Deadline: March 31st.

4)    Applicants must have reached a level of education that is equivalent to a Quebec Secondary School Diploma (SSD) and meet specific conditions of the chosen program when applicable. (SRAM system will check it when the students submit the  documents online. It’s evaluated by government, not individual cegep.)

5)    Note: Equivalent scholarity for most other countries would be completion of pre-university secondary studies. A certified cumulative transcript and a diploma or certificate (officially translated in English or French) is required for evaluation. An above-average academic performance is generally necessary for admission. Secondary school documents must be submitted even if the applicant has completed higher level education.

6)    Application Fee: $85.00 (non-refundable).

7)    Language Requirements

  1. a) English:

1.The test to be passed is the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum acceptable score for this test is 80 Internet-based or 213 computer-based or 550 paper-based.For information regarding these tests, visit http://www.toefl.org

【 If the paper-based test is done, then the Test of Written English (T.W.C.) is also recommended. A minimum score of 4.5 is expected. 】

2.The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) results are also accepted with a band score of 6.5 or better. Information on IELTS is available at www.ielts.org.

Students have the option of writing their TOEFL Internet Based Test here at Vanier. Vanier College is an approved ETS® Certified Test Administration Site. Students should contact the Language School for details.

  1. b) French:

Students admitted to Cegep are required to take two French language general education courses at a certain level of proficiency. Students who are not placed in their introductory French course according to their Quebec high school results will be given a French Placement test after admission.

Students with no knowledge of French will be required to take basic non-credit French courses in preparation for college level French.

(Note that there are specific programs that require previous knowledge of French.).

8). Tuition Fees and Other Expenses:

The tuition fees is  about $6000-$9300, depends on the program. (See the attached document)

The cost of living and studying in Canada for one year is estimated to be about    $6,000 for room and board, and $500 to $1,000 for books, depending on course requirements.

  1. Cegep, University, Post-Secondary Applicants

Students who have attended other Cegeps are required to submit a cumulative transcript. Acquired credits may be recognized between Cegeps and may be used to fulfill diploma requirements.

Students who have attended any other post-secondary institution, such as community college or a university, may be eligible for equivalences on a course-by-course basis (a minimal fee is applied).

In all cases, applicants with advanced standing are evaluated for admission on their overall academic record and the competitiveness of the program to which they are applying.
